Fundraising for Cash Credit Account

Besides the rowing fee, each rower has an additional fundraising comittment. Returning rowers must earn $550 ($250 of which has been earned by December 31st) and novice rowers must earn $250 by May 1st. Various fundraisers have been set up to help the rower earn this money. Each rower has a cash credit account which is a record of all monies earned.

Upcoming Fundraisers

1. Cookie Dough/Soft Pretzel/Cheesecake Sale:
Sales will begin Nov 7th. Order forms and money to Judy Neary (866-7793) by Nov 21.

2. Phone Book Delivery:
This is our big fundraiser for the spring and participation is mandatory. Starts Saturday, January 27th from 8am-4pm and each Saturday in February (until all the books are delivered) at Hunt Valley Swim Club at 7100 Sydenstricker Rd. For more info, contact Jack Palmer, 703 644 6532.

3. Car Wash:
March 4th; for more information call Betsy Coles at 569-6459.

4. Restaurant Raffle:
to be held in April; each rower will be required to sell 5 tickets for the club and the remaining ticket sales go to the rower's account.

5. Scrip:
A large percent of the club is now participating in the easiest fundraiser of them all. See enclosed information and order form. Call Melissa Wangsgard at 644-2683 if you would like to get started purchasing scrip.
